The Sinking City NSP/XCI is an action-adventure game developed and published by Frogwares. Inspired by the works of horror fiction author H.P.
Description: The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft, the master of Horror. The half-submerged city of Oakmont is gripped by supernatural forces. You’re a private investigator, and you have to uncover the truth of what has possessed the city… and the minds of its inhabitants. Manage your mental health to untangle the truth behind the madness.
An oppressive atmosphere and story inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft. A vast open world that can be explored on foot, by boat, in a diving suit. High replay value thanks to an open investigation system: each case can be solved in a number of ways, with different possible endings depending on your actions. An arsenal of weapons from the 1920’s with which to take on nightmarish creatures.

Hello, Anyone with a broken and crashing game? The update v1.2.0 (crc32: 93990078) seems to break the game. The base game is fine, but I tried the update I can’t launch it without the update anymore. With the update, the game freezes near the bar (on the docks). checking file integrity in the switch settings>check files, it’s correct with the base only, corrupted with the update installed. I tried installing the update with both Goldleaf v0.8, and awoo installer 1.3.3, both game and update installed on FAT32 SD card, Horizon 10.0.4E, AMS12. I couldn’t find and try any other v1.2.0… Read more »
Have you tried reinstall of whole game files?
Thank you for your answer. I tested to uninstall/reinstall fully multiple times. Sorry, my previous message was wrong. here is the correct result: All tests done by fully uninstalling base+update+DLC+ticket (when present) with goldleaf + reinstalling. CRC32 in parenthesis. Test 1 (goldleaf) and 2 (awoo) : installed base game from nxbrew (1061831D). test files for corruption : Corrupted! Installed update1.2.0 from nxbrew (93990078) Tested for corruption : Corrupted! Game launches, but freeze in game, near the bar. then a forced corrupted files verification is required to launch the game again. Test 3 (goldleaf) : Installed base game from another website… Read more »
Thanks for all your testings i have played this game my self on FW 9.1.0 and it worked flawlessly no idea why its causing issues for you.
is it fixed coz i m having the same issue
Sorry, I couldn’t find a solution. I tried a lot of version and combination of base/update/dlc, even reset dlc and update version thanks to goldleaf beta 0.9, but two things I didn’t try is downgrading to fw9.1.0 as adminnx said it worked, don’t do that if you are not sure what you are doing, and trying on sysNAND (I used only emuNAND).
I ended up buying the game on ps4 while there was a 80% sale this summer.
Tinfoil complains about the DLC’s being garbage. I installed them without issue with dbinstaller
Tinfoil is also a garbage installer use always Gold leaf or Awoo Installer for DLCs.
Is it possible to upload 1.2.0 patch to 1Fichier? GDrive is always block!
Done.
XCI is down
Use NSP kindly.
Need the XCI to play off ext HDD. If its a problem then no worries. 🙂
That XCI was the converted one.
I have no problem with it but Converted XCI and NSP doesn’t have any difference.
I forgot that they could be converted. I will grab the NSP, thank you! NSP just can’t be played directly off the HDD it has to be installed on SD. SX OS
You can convert NSP to XCI via NSC Builder
